Following the release of his debut single, Gilbert Edoreh takes a step further with the release of a sophomore titled "Close to me".

"Close to me" (written by Gilbert) is a love song with a lush sound, having a blend of R&B and a subtle element of soul. It was produced by the maestro, Abdulkass.

This song was written many years ago, but as he gradually drew close to 8 years in matrimony, Gilbert decided to do this song in honour of his wife.
